Places to stay
Multi-bedroom homes with gardens, kitchens and space that hotel rooms cannot match.
Quick answer
Look for a full kitchen, a fenced outdoor space, at least two bathrooms, and a location within walking distance of a supermarket. Family-friendly supply is strongest in Bariloche cabins, the Atlantic coast houses and larger Belgrano or Palermo apartments in Buenos Aires.
For families, the vacation rental advantage in Argentina is practical: full kitchens for long lunches, laundry between legs of a trip, and separate bedrooms across time zones. Look for ground-floor houses with enclosed gardens in the lake district and the coast.
