Trust
How we verify homes, and what our badges actually mean
Trust badges are easy to print and hard to earn. Here is precisely what we check before a vacation home appears on this site, what each badge does and does not promise, and how we make money — so you can judge us on specifics rather than adjectives.
What we check
Photos match the home
Every photo on a listing must come from the owner or manager and show the property as it is today. No stock imagery, no borrowed shots of the view, no renders. Sample listings on the site are labelled as samples.
The owner is who they say they are
Before a listing goes live we confirm the owner or manager's identity and their right to let the property — government ID plus a document tying them to the address, checked by a human, not a form.
Amenities are owner-stated and checkable
Details like WiFi speed, heating, air conditioning and parking are supplied by the owner and shown as owner-stated. Ask us before you book and we will get a current speed test or photo from the host.
A real person answers
Each home has a named contact who has agreed to respond to enquiries. We aim to reply to every enquiry within one business day, in English or Spanish.
Plain speaking
What we do not claim
- We are not an insurer and we do not offer a damage or property protection guarantee.
- We do not operate round-the-clock staffed support yet — it is on the roadmap, and today you get bilingual help during Argentine business hours.
- We do not publish reviews we have not verified, and we do not invent ratings.
- We do not display live availability or prices we cannot stand behind; illustrative content is labelled as a sample.
- Concierge experiences are arranged with local partners; availability and pricing are confirmed before anything is charged.
Money
How we get paid
0%
Host commission
Owners keep their full nightly rate.
4%
Guest technology & protection fee
Charged on the lodging total; covers support, fraud checks and processing.
14–16%
Typical OTA guest fee
What the large platforms add to the same stay.
Hosts and managers can choose a paid annual plan for placement and tooling — see listing plans. Nothing about a plan changes what we verify.
